Sequence Description:  Identical with the Gene Bank Ref.ID sequence except for two point mutations: 746 T/C resulting in the amino acids Leu substitution by Pro, 1860 A/G not causing the amino acids variation.

  1. Remove the marked edge in the center of the spot .
  2. Transfer the filter paper to a 1.5ml microfuge tube containing 50-100 μl of sterile H2O . Ensure the filter paper is completely immersed in the H2O by briefly centrifuging the tube for 10 seconds.
  3. Transfer the tube to a heating block at 95oC for 15–30 min .
  4. At the end of the incubation period remove the sample from the block and pulse vortex, or gently tap.
  5. Briefly centrifuge for 30 seconds, to separate the scattered filter paper from the elute. The elute now contains the purified DNA .
