This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, human cell-derived, recombinant human CD112 / Nectin2 extracellular domain ( rhCD112; Catalog#10005-H08H; aa1- 360; NP_002847.1 ). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |
CD112 / Nectin2 Antibody Usage Guide
| Specificity: |
Human CD112 / Nectin2 |
|
No cross-reactivity with human cell lysate ( 293 cell line ) in WB and ELISA. |
|
| Western blot: | This antibody can be used at 1- 2ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect CD112 in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for CD112 is approximately 2 ng / lane under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions. |
| Direct ELISA : | This antibody can be used at 0.5-1μg/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect CD112. The detection limit for CD112 is approximately 2.5ng/well. |
| Storage: | This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for 1 month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20℃ to -70℃. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

CD112 / Nectin2 Antibody Background
CD112, also known as Nectin2, is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Immunoglobulin superfamily. As a homophilic adhesion molecule, CD112 is widely expressed in human tissues including hematopoietic cells and mediates intercellular junctions of adjacent cells. This protein also serves as an entry for certain mutant strains of herpes simplex virus and pseudorabies virus, and thus is involved in cell to cell spreading of these viruses. CD112 has been identified as the ligand for DNAM-1 (CD226), and the interaction of CD226/CD112 can induce NK cell- and CD8+ T cell-mediated cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion. CD112 has been regarded as a critical component in allergic reactions, and accordingly may function as a novel target for anti-allergic therapy.
