1. Capture Antibody 1 mg/mL of rabbit anti-Human VEGF165/VEGFA monoclonal antibody (in PBS, pH 7.4). Dilute to a working concentration of 0.15 μg/mL in PBS before coating. (Catalog: # 11066-R010)
2. Detection Antibody 0.2 mg/mL of mouse anti-Human VEGF165/VEGFA monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) (in PBS, 50 % HRP-Protector, pH 7.4, store at 4℃). Dilute to working concentration of 0.25 μg/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use. (Catalog: # 11066-MM04)
3. Standard Each vial contains 100 ng of recombinant Human VEGF165/VEGFA. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20℃ to -80℃ in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 1200 pg/mL is recommended.

VEGFA Background Information

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), also known as vascular permeability factor (VPF) and VEGF-A, is a potent mediator of both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis in the fetus and adult. It is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)/vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family and often exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer. VEGF-A protein is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects, including mediating increased vascular permeability, inducing angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, inhibiting apoptosis and tumor growth. VEGF-A protein is also a vasodilator that increases microvascular permeability, thus it was originally referred to as vascular permeability factor.
Full Name
vascular endothelial growth factor A
