CD135 antigens

CD135 antigens general information

CD135 Gene ID 2322
CD135 Official Full Name fms related tyrosine kinase 3
CD135 Alias Flt3, Flk2
CD135 Cellular Expression monocytes; Stem cell
CD135 Ligand/Receptor/Association flt3 ligand
CD135 Function Receptor tyrosine kinase. Growth factor receptor. Signaling through CD135.
CD135 Summary This gene encodes a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Tetraspanins are cell surface glycoproteins with four transmembrane domains that form multimeric complexes with other cell surface proteins. The encoded protein functions in many cellular processes including differentiation, adhesion, and signal transduction, and expression of this gene plays a critical role in the suppression of cancer cell motility and metastasis.
